Todays ride was BEAUTIFUL... what a change a week makes.  Last weekend it was overcast and rainy, this weekend it was typical San Diego weather.  I had on my sunscreen and the high was in the 80's -  I'm dreaming of a GREEN Christmas here.

Anyway enough about the weather.  It was a ride up into North County with the route taking us from Restaurant Row North to our first rest stop.  Then it was on to Gopher Canyon Road which is the first set of major climbs you see in the elevation.  after the first major downhill, the next step was to climb to the top of Circle R road, which was the highest elevation of the day.  From there it was on to our second rest stop just prior to Champagne which was the final 'big' climb of the day.
